Start A New Chapter

Starting Over….

BizzyLiddleDee has been a labor of love for over a decade. Played around with the idea of starting my own business around 2014, but didn’t have the balls to really go for it.

Then I found myself laid off during the pandemic and decided to give it a try since I had nothing but time. BizzyLiddleDee Creative Creations became official!

Started selling my handmade decor and event items. The whole “creative creations” part of the name was what drove me and kept me going during that time. But then life happened — had a baby on the way, cabin fever because of quarantine, needing a secure full-time job with a growing family — emotions were all over the place…literally.

Unfortunately, didn’t have time for BLD. It became too costly and stressful to maintain so I kind of let it go but it’s 2025!!! That baby is now 3 years old and postpartum depression is a thing of the past so I’m ready to be BizzyLiddleDee again!

But this time with a little twist. I’m going to take the pressure off of myself and just share my life opinions on motherhood, working a full-time job, being the default parent, what I do to keep myself sane, and life in general. I’m far from a life coach or the perfect mother, but I think I do alright and hopefully my mistakes, failures and lessons learned can help you.

As much as I love DIY and creating things, that’s not going to be my main focus. BUT, I do plan to sprinkle some of that every now and then. This way you can tap into your creative side. Because FYI — everyone has one!

Here’s a few things you should know:

  • Despite the public blog, I’m an extremely private person. You will not see pictures of me or my family.
  • My shop page is a work-in-progress at the moment. I’m going to sell instant download templates, ideas and maybe projects, intended to make your life easier.
  • Outside links and mentions to other sites may be mentioned throughout my posts. Right now they’re not promotional but who knows what’ll happen in the future. ::fingers crossed::
  • Any items I do display should be easily accessible from a local store like Dollar Tree and Five Below, or can be purchased online through Wal-mart, Target, or Amazon.
  • Be ready for A LOT of Disney. I’m a proud Disney adult raising two Disney princesses. This is not a Disney-only blog but there will be many references. You’ve been warned!
  • Quite a bit of throwbacks! I have a lot to share and cool DIY projects from years ago, so excuse any old school looking pictures.

So are you ready to go through this crazy life with me and be creative?!

Let’s start by following me on instagram and pinterest!
