Baby Booties Diaper Cake

Diaper Cakes – A great baby shower gift!

I just love baby showers! It’s a great time to honor and bless the mommy-to-be who probably feels like a giant whale and is miserable. What can you gift her that’ll light up her eyes? A great baby shower gift isn’t exactly found on her registry but something you make with those items. I’m talking about diaper cakes!

Mom probably spent hours finalizing her registry, picking and choosing exactly what she wanted. But you can get creative with those bibs, receiving blankets, socks, and onesies.

Here’s what you’ll need and/or can use for your cake:

  1. Diapers – quantities range from 60-100+
  2. Receiving blankets
  3. Towels and wash cloths
  4. Onesies, socks, hats, or other clothing
  5. Bibs and burp cloths
  6. Toys like teddy bears and loveys
  7. Baby bottles, spoons, and pacifiers

Keep in mind that you’ll need a base/holder like a large serving platter or cardboard. A lot of rubber bands and ribbon to keep everything together.

Take inspiration from the baby shower theme or what is listed on the registry. I promise you, any diaper cake will be show stopper!
